splitter - greatest moments of 2007

inspired by the final (i presume?) charlie-centric episode - Greatest Hits, i figured it'd be nice to list down my top 5(+1) greatest moments of 2007.

#5 - 13 Nov 2007 - leaving mandai and embracing new life in bedok
the final days @ mandai were really horrible. all the horns were starting to show and basically the people that we used to 'respect' turned on our trust. the constant backstabbing, negative motivation and psychological distress were taking a toll. den the news came for me and a couple of others to leave that place. and we have never looked back.

#4 - 1 Mar 2007 - when i saw my A level result slip
i din expect it. i felt it went fine, the whole exam and everything, but with respect to econs and probably bio, i knew i made stupid mistakes all over the place. maybe its a case of luck, or maybe i did score better in other areas but it doesnt matter now. it felt great nonetheless.

#3 - 11 May 2007 - receiving an sms telling me i have been accepted into SMU while on Exercise Excalibur
it was quite crappy, considering i did this terrible riverbed trek through the night. my feet were sore, my mind blurry. den the msg came and the good news followed. prior to taiwan, i did this really terrible interview when i din had much of an opportunity to speak out much. moreover i had nothing to write for the essay, considering how much i had forgotten. somehow i prevailed.

#2 - 13 Mar 2007 AND 31 Oct 2007 - pop AND when i touched down from brunei (tied)
pop from dat damned island was such a bittersweet feeling. its like leaving alll the horrible bmt days behind, but at the expense of my bmt frens. besides it was the last day of my 7 day SOL for misfiring, so it makes 13 march all the more sweeter. touch down from brunei was equally sweet. considering how brunei went for pretty much everyone. and i just needed to savour the fresh air so badly.

#1 - 13 Jul 2007 - watching harry potter and the order of the phoenix
it was highly anticipated, and the show did not disappoint. =)
