splitter - fooled by red and green, dirt and grass

chucking aside all the other unhappiness in my life, i had a golden opportunity to watch the federer nadal match the other day and siezed that chance i did. it was such an absorbing and exciting match even though i din actually watch it live, but well i'm not complaining.

federer has reached this certain point in his life where it is becoming really really difficult for him to repeat his 06-07 performance year in year out on a daily basis. and i'm glad that its nadal taking over the reigns. i feel for him when he mentioned that it was the darkest moment in his career or something, but at the same time, no one can stay on top of the world forever and its just about time to be gracious and nice to his successor and he was in fact very professional and sporting. kudos.

but let me just shout. i absolutely love nadal for his style of play, his mentality both on and off court and his sportsmanship. and the very fact that he did the clay-grass double makes him a much greater player than he already is.

and of course i love ivanovic too. haha.

if there's anything that can make my day, it'd be either nadal or ivanovic winning a title. at least for now.
