splitter - fooled by fading dissent

just the other day, yb and i were discussing about how difficult is it to forget everything about someone. and he told me about how he always had those distant memories float around from time to time.

'when they give you a message from time to time, could it be that they're missing you?' yb quipped.

perhaps? maybe it is a thought too deep, but i do believe that there is a whole lot of truth in it.

but yet at the time, the negative consequences are more than enough to turn any potential sms into empty drafts that sit silently in the sms outbox/draft folder. i want to forgive and forget, but sometimes it requires a lot more than i can provide, so i continue to sit on that small yet somewhat significant amount of dissent. i'm just waiting for it to fade away.

secretly, i'd rather it not fade away, because if it actually does, it probably spells yet another unpleasant encounter.

i have to shake that tag off. now... or never.
